Louise Trueman is the Founding Director of the firm and brings over a decade of experience in the legal industry, specialising in conveyancing. She previously led the conveyancing department at another firm for five years, managing a team of 12. This role gave her a strong foundation not only in handling complex caseloads but also in leading and mentoring a successful team.
In 2020 Louise qualified as a Chartered Legal Executive and formally qualified as a Conveyancing Practitioner in 2025, allowing her to run matters independently and supervise others. She has experience with a wide range of transactions from straightforward sales and purchases to more complex matters and has acted for developers, first-time buyers, investors, and estates.
Louise is known for her calm, solutions-focused approach and her ability to guide clients and colleagues alike through even the most challenging transactions. Her experience and vision shape the direction of the firm, ensuring high standards, strong team culture, and exceptional client care.
Lisa Bailey is a Managing Director and the firm’s Accounts and Compliance Manager, combining years of hands-on legal experience with a sharp eye for detail and regulation. Since entering the legal sector in 2012, Lisa has worked across both conveyancing and family law, including working on Legal Aid funded matters, which has given her a strong understanding of the challenges clients face during life’s major transitions.
As the firm’s COFA, Lisa is responsible for ensuring compliance with SRA regulations and overseeing financial systems to ensure they operate with accuracy, security, and efficiency.
Lisa’s approachable manner, paired with her practical experience and regulatory knowledge, makes her a trusted point of contact within the firm both for colleagues and for clients who value transparency, professionalism, and care.
Bena Lacroix is a key member of the team, working as both PA to Louise Trueman and Legal Assistant. With previous experience in a legal practice and a degree in Criminology, she brings both knowledge and professionalism to her role. Bena plays a central part in the smooth running of the firm, providing high-level support and ensuring that cases are managed with precision and care. Her strong organisational skills, legal awareness, and proactive approach contribute significantly to the efficiency and success of the team.
Carley Bateman is the first point of contact for clients, whether in person or over the phone, offering a calm, professional, and friendly welcome to everyone she assists. With a strong background in customer service, administration, and front-of-house coordination, she plays a key role in creating a positive first impression and supporting the smooth running of the office.
