Louise Trueman - Senior Director

 Louise Trueman is the Senior Director of the firm and brings over a decade of experience in the legal industry, specialising in conveyancing, wills and probate. She previously led the conveyancing department at another firm for five years, managing a team of 12. This role gave her a strong foundation not only in handling complex caseloads but also in leading and mentoring a successful team.   
In 2020 Louise qualified as a Chartered Legal Executive and formally qualified as a Conveyancing Practitioner in 2025, allowing her to run matters independently and supervise others. She has experience with a wide range of transactions from straightforward sales and purchases to more complex matters and has acted for developers, first-time buyers, investors, and estates. Specialising in conveyancing, wills and probate as well as having experience in creation of trusts and dealing with commercial property and business agreements.

Louise is known for her calm, solutions-focused approach and her ability to guide clients and colleagues alike through even the most challenging transactions. Her experience and vision shape the direction of the firm, ensuring high standards, strong team culture, and exceptional client care.

Lisa Bailey - Managing Director / Accounts and Compliance Manager

Lisa Bailey is the Managing Director and the firm’s Accounts and Compliance Manager, combining years of hands-on legal experience with a sharp eye for detail and regulation. Since entering the legal sector in 2012, Lisa has worked across both conveyancing and family law, including working on Legal Aid funded matters, which has given her a strong understanding of the challenges clients face during life’s major transitions.
As the firm’s COFA, Lisa is responsible for ensuring compliance with SRA regulations and overseeing financial systems to ensure they operate with accuracy, security, and efficiency.
Lisa’s approachable manner, paired with her practical experience and regulatory knowledge, makes her a trusted point of contact within the firm both for colleagues and for clients who value transparency, professionalism, and care.

Bena Lacroix - Trainee Conveyancer

 Bena Lacroix is a key member of the team, working as a Trainee Conveyancer. With previous experience in a legal practice and a degree in Criminology, she brings a strong foundation of legal knowledge, professionalism and attention to detail to her role. She also has experience in dealing with wills and probate but her key focus and enjoyment is in conveyancing. 

Bena's organisational skills, legal awareness and proactive approach help ensure that matters progress with accuracy and care.

Bena has spent meaningful time developing her skills within conveyancing and continues to grow her expertise while completing her CILEX studies. Her commitment, reliability and positive contribution make her an integral part of the team.

Carly Bateman - Office Manager

Carley Bateman is the first point of contact for clients, whether in person or over the phone, offering a calm, professional, and friendly welcome to everyone she assists. Carley also supports the business as Office and Accounts Coordinator ensuring the smooth and efficient running of daily operations. With a strong background in customer service, administration, and front-of-house coordination, she plays a key role in creating a positive first impression and supporting the smooth running of the office.

Carley brings a wealth of experience from client-facing roles and is committed to delivering excellent service at every interaction and sets the tone for a positive client experience from the very first point of contact

Rhythm Sharma - Associate

Rhythm Sharma is an Associate at Trueman Bailey Law, bringing international legal experience and a strong, detail-driven approach to client work. He holds an LLM in International Commercial Law from the University of Warwick and is a licensed Advocate in India, with the UK Solicitors Qualifying Examination (SQE) currently in progress.

Rhythm has experience supporting a wide range of legal matters, including conveyancing support, property due diligence, compliance, legal drafting, and client communication. He has previously worked across personal injury, immigration, commercial litigation, and corporate advisory roles in both the UK and India, giving him a broad and practical understanding of legal processes and client care.

With a calm, organised, and solutions-focused approach, Rhythm enjoys working closely with clients and colleagues to ensure matters progress smoothly and efficiently. He is particularly interested in residential conveyancing and private client work and is committed to developing his expertise while supporting the firm’s high standards of professionalism, accuracy, and service.

Chloe Davies- Receptionist / Legal Assistant

Chloe Davies is a receptionist and Legal Assistant based in our Long Crendon office. She holds a degree in Law from the University of South Wales and brings a strong background in client facing and high pressure environments.

Before joining Trueman Bailey Law, Chloe worked in the control room at Thames Valley Police, where she developed excellent organisational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to remain calm and professional under pressure. 

Chloe is known for her professionalism, accuracy, and proactive approach, and she is committed to ensuring information is well organised, deadlines are met, and clients are treated with courtesy and respect. She plays an important role in supporting the team and delivering a positive experience for our clients.
